Excellent Service

First time that I have brought from Offtek would definitely buy again and recommend to all of my friends to do so as well.
I contacted offtek as I did not know the memory that I needed for my machine. One of there team got back to be straight away with the exact memory I needed and where to find it on there website.
The website was really easy to use, very secure and I got updates on the status of my order.
Also the price was so cheap I could not believe it. I just wish more companies that sold online did it as well as offtek do.

Seeing the range of products that they offer means that I will be back for some more memory very soon.

I must say congratulations on a job well done offtek 10 out of 10!

My machine jeopardised by this retailers claims.

OFFTEK state that the problem of me not being able to install any Windows security updates after installing their memory upgrade lay with my Operating System, this was the standard Vista operating system installed in my inspiron1520, the very same model that OFFTEK advertised my purchase from them as "The Dell Inspiron 1520 memory upgrade options shown below are guaranteed 100% compatible with the Dell Inspiron 1520" on their website. Which was the reason I made the purchase.
In addition OFFTEK advertised "Extensive testing prior to dispatch" and "Free technical support" my purchase quite obviously had not been tested and the technical support consisted of them inform me too contact Dell. When I protested at this OFFTEK referred me back to an online forum I had sent them a link to in order to show them that this was not an uncommon problem when upgrading DELL RAM. OFFTEK said they were all ready aware of this problem with my model and referred me back to the forum thread I had sent them saying that it should work. On this forum I was advised to disable the anti-virus and the firewall which I did and the computer was subsequently infected with a virus resulting in my having to wipe the hard drive.
This upgrade which OFFTEK stated to be "guaranteed 100% compatible with the Dell Inspiron 1520" in fact caused such a serious problem with my computer that I spent in access of 12 hours solving it, even now I am unsure if the problem will resurface.
