Previous comments were 2010.
It's now 2011. Still the same issues. Bad delivery targets, damaged goods, no responses to emails. Seem to be ignorant of the anger of let down customers. The number of complaints on line suggest there are MAJOR problems within the company.
I am still waiting for responses to emails placed from 4 weeks ago to present time.
They currently claim to aim to respond to emails within 6 working days???

Further to my earlier e-mail, sent some time ago, Jersey Plants sent me a £3 voucher made out to a named lady in Solihull (I live in Cumbria) and couldn't even get my surname correct - they amalgamated my surname with the name of my house. Then I spoke to a woman, purportedly in charge of the company, which she said was based in Essex but sourced in plants in Jersey, and she said she would refund my payment. Eventually I managed to get my money back via Paypal, but they deducted a fee. Other companies refund directly, so why couldn't Jersey Plants do so. Dreadful company, dreadful products - but something ate them. Off to B&Q, as I always find them reliable. All I wanted was red geraniums - simple, and I didn't expect the hassle I got from that company. Will also spread the news within Mensa and Growsonyou!

I have bought red geranium plug plants for more than twenty years, and have complained that they sare not true red. This year they were a dark pink, but when I contacted the IT-callcentre in Chelmsford, they sent an illiterate reply, and sent me a £3 voucher. They later promised me a full refund, and at £8.99 the 70 plugs were very healthy and goog value. However, they have ruined my annual display, as I want truly red geraniums, such as you see in Switzerland and in the Mediterranean Countries. It is impossible to get an educated response to complaints, and I stopped their e-newsletter because it consistently came through with a blank subject box - indicating spam. I have tried to get a response from management, and am not even sure of the correct name for the company, as there appear to be several - all under one banner. Next year I will either try to grow my plants from seed. or buy from reputable suppliers such as B&Q or Lidl.

They do not repond to emails.They promise to deliver in 10 days but do not keep their promise & have excuses all the time.I will never order through them ever again.Thay do not show any transparency in their dealings.

Very Poor Quality - hopeless delivery times and no communication

I placed my order 24th April and am still waiting on 2 of the 4 items over five weeks later. As instructed by JPD if you're dissatisfied, I emailed enquiries@jerseyplantsdirect.com 12th May and again 20th but have had no acknowledgements to either.

Their colour brochure sells the products along with their promise "despatched within 14 days of order" (my items fall into this category). But I don't know what is more disappointing - not receiving items or receiving poor quality ones ?

Begonia Sahara 100+60 plugs - the crown of the tray was fine about 5cm - 6cm, including the root plug but the outer ones were all stretching their definition of minimum 4cm

Petunia trailing 100+60 plugs - were bone dry, fully wilted and under 4cm. They have been nursed by me for almost 3 weeks and I have lost the so-called free ones and so they have proven to be a poor bargain. I've given up complaining to Jersey Plants Direct and to be truthful, I'm hoping the missing items won't be delivered now as coming into June there's not the time to start nursing more plants.

My motto for the future:
Far better to buy what you see - not what you're promised !
