When you open a Lloyds TSB Classic or Classic Plus account, we'll handle the transfer of all your Direct Debits, standing orders, salary and other credits into your new account, and close your old one when we've done it.

You'll have a personal contact from our Account Transfer team, dedicated to making sure that everything goes smoothly, including:
- getting in touch with your old bank or building society for a list of your Direct Debits and standing orders
- checking with you which ones you want to move to your new account
- setting up the new payments
- calling your employer to arrange for your salary to be paid into your new account
