Miniature motorcycle, mini motorcycle, minimoto or pocket bike racing is becoming an increasingly popular sport in Europe including the UK. These small motorcycles are small (thus the name) usually not weighing more than 50-100 pounds with lengths of approx. 3-4 feet and height at almost 2 feet. Both children (from the age of 8) and adult persons can fit and control a mini bike.
In most countries you do not need a licence to ride one of these bikes. They are usually not legal for use on public roads and should be ridden on private land, such as car parks, gardens or on race tracks.
As with a lot of 50 cc 2 stroke engines, the fuel has to be mixed with oil in a ratio of 50:1. Many proformance parts can be added to increase speed, and accelaration such as Nitrous Oxide
