Very poor after-sales support

Great until something goes wrong

To give them dues: yes, the prices are cheap; yes, delivery times are very fast. In fact, when my Mira mixer shower and DuraTherm towel rail first arrived I gave a glowing review in response to their customer feedback survey. However, when my plumber was unable to fit the towel rails due to faulty threads, that's when the problems began (for the record, there were no problems with the Mira mixer shower). For a start, no telephone support is provided. Surely e-mail support supplements and complements telephone support, and does not replace it. Apparently not though. So, after a succession of e-mails back and forth, the old towel rail was collected and a new one sent out (despite me not actually requested a new one, but hey . . . ). This new towel rail was also faulty and also rusting in places. I'm still waiting for this to be collected as the courier doing the collection arrives at random, unannounced times. Customer support actually told me to leave the towel rail outside my house, seemingly oblivious to the potential for theft. I would definitely approach this company with caution.

Poor service

Original product delivered damaged, unable to contact by phone, item replaced with incorrect product. Finally on 3rd delivery the correct item was delivered but whilst I was out so they did not take the returned item. I advised them immediately and am now receiving emails advising I will be charged for 2 items!!! Poor service throughout

fantastic products and service

the place to go for bathrooms

I hunted for a new bathroom suite - everywhere. Focus, every single internet site, Luxury bathrooms you can't afford - as i say, every where. Then I stumbled upon Plumbworld - sounds more like a boy's porn site, but hey.
I found a fantastic discounted bathroom suite and kept my fingers crossed as I ordered. I just didn't know if it would arrive in five days, five weeks or even five years. Considering Focus have a delivery of four weeks, I was nervous as our plumbers were revving up to get plumbing.
Low and behold the suite arrived in about four days! Repeat that four days! And guess what - the suite was fantastic, far better than I'd seen in any DIY shop. And the cost - about £500 cheaper!
As you can tell I'm a fan. I really believe this company cares about its customers - a rarity.
As I forgot to order end panels for the bath I had to re order and they arrive two days after ordering. And the price for delivery on the panels was a fiver!
Obviously I didn't have reason to complain, so I can't comment on their after sales service. Although they did follow up an e mail of mine v quickly and offered to reimburse my over order of taps! My fault!
If you want value for money trust in Plumbworld. I did and now I' exceedingly grateful.

No phone contact

This vendor does not even have a phone number to contact regarding follow up of orders, which is quite critical when planning delivery dates for a big project. Fortunately I cancelled my order (received an e-mail confirmation only) ... be assured I will be checking my debit card details to make sure the cancellation was effective!
