Hydrolux Shower Cubicle

Never Again

The initial contact with Plumbworld was great when I was actually making a purchase, very user friendly site.

First problem came with the delivery company who did not phone as promised within 72 hours and it wasn't until 3 phone calls and 8 days later that we got the cubicle.

No written instructions are supplied for the cubicle just two brochures with pictures, neither of which applied to my model and we didn't discovered a vital part of the corner post was missing until we actually came to install it.

All you can do is email this company and hang about waiting for the reply, so all I can say is if you order anything from this company and there are no problems, fine but if you have a problem, what could take one phone call to any other company to sort out, this company could take days.

Poor after sales service

Faulty Radiator

All seems very good on the outside and provided your item arrives in good condition, there is probably no problem but if the goods are faulty, Plumbworld haved no idea about custoner service. All you have is length waites for email replies as there is no customer service phone line to call and when you do get a reply, the patronosing tones and insincere apologies are an insult. I have now cancelled my ordert as they have failed to perform and I have demended a full refund.
In the meantime, I am leving negative reviews in the hopoe that others will not fall,minto the same trap.
By way of an interesting point to note, there is not one single instance of a poor review on ther website. How disohenst is that given all the negative review that I am reradin on nthe web?

POOR Customer care

Poor customer care via emails, took over a week to resolve an issue and after i finally managed to find a number!!!!! Email/web only is NOT good customer service and is an issue for some with disabilities or no internet access. Plumbworld you are also rude and arrogant.

Very poor after-sales support

Great until something goes wrong

To give them dues: yes, the prices are cheap; yes, delivery times are very fast. In fact, when my Mira mixer shower and DuraTherm towel rail first arrived I gave a glowing review in response to their customer feedback survey. However, when my plumber was unable to fit the towel rails due to faulty threads, that's when the problems began (for the record, there were no problems with the Mira mixer shower). For a start, no telephone support is provided. Surely e-mail support supplements and complements telephone support, and does not replace it. Apparently not though. So, after a succession of e-mails back and forth, the old towel rail was collected and a new one sent out (despite me not actually requested a new one, but hey . . . ). This new towel rail was also faulty and also rusting in places. I'm still waiting for this to be collected as the courier doing the collection arrives at random, unannounced times. Customer support actually told me to leave the towel rail outside my house, seemingly oblivious to the potential for theft. I would definitely approach this company with caution.

Poor service

Original product delivered damaged, unable to contact by phone, item replaced with incorrect product. Finally on 3rd delivery the correct item was delivered but whilst I was out so they did not take the returned item. I advised them immediately and am now receiving emails advising I will be charged for 2 items!!! Poor service throughout
