Probably the worst retailer in the world

OK so let's start with the positive - they make some nice furniture. Now the negative - you just can't get your hands on it. They have a total inability to deliver anything you order or co-ordinate any internal customer care functions.
Let me put it this way, I ordered three items of furniture the first week of Jan - and they are "hoping" to deliver them first week of March but htey aren't sure because the items of furniture keep "informing" the customer service reps that some of them are out of stock. In hte last week I have received 12 automated emails telling me either the items are out of stock or they are ready to be delivered and no one in TCC customer services team can explain why. I would go into more detail but you know what? I can't be bothered.

I made the mistake of ordering a number of items at the same time with this company and out of the 5 items only one met expectations. The quality of the flat pack stuff is very poor, the oak beam tables and farmhouse furniture was good but the delivery service awful. 2 out of 3 items had to be returned as damaged in transit and I demanded money off the flat pack as it was so poor. Whether they don't quality check the courier I don't know but plenty of other companies seem to manage OK.

Fabulous products & good service!

I would just like to say how impressed i was with my recent purchases from The Cotswold Company. I ordered a selection of Wiltshire furniture which i am delighted with. I found ordering online very easy and the customer service team really helpful. I will not hesitate in ordering from The Cotswold Company again in the future.

An absolute disaster - I would never ever go near this compnay again! They were totally incompetent in trying to deliver the product we ordered - failing to turn up twice. After me constantly chasing them and speaking to the Managing Director I was promised another delivery which they made but only delivered half the product. The MD admitted that they had recently changed their delivery company and were undergoing very large problems. Avoid!

Useless customer service

The Cotswold Company did seem to be good. But on a substandard goods delivery, the aftercare has been useless. Not only did the customer services completely ignore my request to redeliver by a certain date, they actually delivered it during the time we were away and left my 2 year old toddler stranded without a bed!!!! I would not use them again.
