Design: Floyd PaxtonDescription: Zoom by Serien Lighting can transform itself - it is designed as a circular sliding lattice grate construction, enabling it to be easily adjusted to assume any diameter. In closed formation, the light ring has a 20 centimetre diameter. Open, it measures 1.30 meters, allowing Zoom to meet any space requirements, both in visual as well as lighting terms. Unfolded, Zoom moves up slightly and becomes a modern chandelier with 20 small halogen bulbs emitting their light freely into the room. The lamp is made of a flexible stainless steel spring strip and a translucent foil. The lamps are delivered with electronic transformators 2 x 105 VA or, on demand, with a toroidal transformator 200 VA.On the outside, Zoom XL follows the traditional Zoom look. But unlike its smaller cousin, Zoom XL comes with a standard E14 screw fitting able to accommodate various - even coloured - light bulbs. Zoom XL is twice as big as the smaller Zoom. Thus, when closed up, it has a diameter of 40 centimetres and when completely extended its light ring measures 2.60 meters. This makes it ideal for very large and high rooms requiring appropriately dimensioned lighting. In total, as many as five Zoom XL´s can be fitted into each other. Depending on how much the light rings are opened up, they can assume the stunning look of a cascading, sumptuous chandelier. The light of both lamps is unshielded above and below. on request the lamp, that is available in a polished stainless steel finish, can be delivered with more elements.
